WORDPRESS Winter Wonderland Manchester

Kingpin Events is giving North West charities an early Christmas gift by inviting them to experience the magic of this year’s Winter Wonderland Manchester entirely free of charge.

There are 1,500 free tickets available to charities in the North West at a value of almost £30,000!

Festive extravaganza Winter Wonderland is the UK’s largest indoor Christmas theme park, and can be found at EventCity next to the Intu Trafford Centre in Manchester.

The attraction officially opens to the public on Saturday 12th December, but organisers Kingpin Events are hosting a special charity evening on Monday, 14th December.

Charities whose work specifically benefits children and their families; disadvantaged young people; and bereaved families are invited to apply for tickets.

The special preview session will take place on Monday 14th December between 4.30pm and 8.30pm. Organisations must be a registered charity and based in the North West to be considered. The event is fully accessible.

Charities are invited to register their interest by emailing winterwonderland@billelms.com with details about the charity, registered charity number, their logo and the number of tickets they require. Charities will be chosen at random.

The closing date for applications is Friday 20th November, and the successful charities will be notified via email by Thursday 26th November.

Tammy Silcock of Kingpin Events, the organiser of Winter Wonderland said: “We’re extremely excited about bringing the Winter Wonderland extravaganza back to the North West this Christmas – and we’re particularly looking forward to welcoming local charities for their preview evening.

“Last year’s charity evening proved a huge success and was very humbling for everyone involved. It was very special and our guests thoroughly enjoyed being the first visitors to enjoy the Winter Wonderland experience. If you are a registered charity and you would benefit from this festive treat then please do get in touch.”

Winter Wonderland returns to EventCity from Saturday 12th December 2015 until Sunday 3rd January 2016.

The magical festive family adventure features more than 40 family rides and attractions all under one roof, including many children and family rides all included in the entry price.

In addition to the rides, families can enjoy activities including an ice princess show, a daily live show from television favourite The Sooty Show; the spectacular Christmas Circus and a brand new show for 2015, The Magical Van Buren Show, a unique and fun mix of magic, illusions, escapology, circus skills and a few surprises thrown in from master magician Andrew Van Buren who has performed in Blackpool Tower Circus, The Brit Awards and at The Royal Albert Hall.

Of course, no Christmas would be complete without the Man in the Red Suit so children can meet Santa Claus up to and including Christmas Eve (24 December).

Visitors will also meet performers throughout their Winter Wonderland adventure, including stilt walkers, Christmas fairies and fairytale characters. Games, food and drinks stalls will also be available.

Winter Wonderland is operated on a session basis to ensure visitors can enjoy the experience without overcrowding. Tickets to this event are limited and we strongly advise that tickets are booked early to avoid disappointment. Do not miss the Christmas event of the year Winter Wonderland Manchester at EventCity from 12th December 2015 – 3rd January 2016.
