Scott Devon, Moochin’ About Records, and The Open Eye present David Amram live in Manchester.

David Amram will be performing at La Gitane in Manchester on the 2nd and 3rd of December. The legendary musician and composer is set to hit the UK at the end of 2015. As one of the original ‘beats’ alongside Jack Kerouac and Allen Ginsberg, and with a career that began in the1950’s playing French horn alongside Charles Mingus and Dizzy Gillespie, and went on to collaborate as a composer with Arthur Miller, Langston Hughes, Thelonious Monk, Johnny Depp, Hunter S. Thompson and Bob Dylan amongst others, and in more recent years has seen him inducted into the Oklahoma Jazz Hall of Fame, and now at the age of 85 David Amram is still touring.
