Bolton Council’s website and online transactions will be unavailable for the last weekend in November and first weekend in December, due to essential work.

The council website will be unavailable between 6pm on November 27 and 8am on November 30 and from the same times between December 4 and December 7.

The council must relocate a significant amount of IT hardware, which includes the servers which host the council’s website and online transactions.

However, a holding page for the website will still be available at, which includes information on emergency numbers, a benefits calculator, information on the libraries and museums service and visitor information.

The council apologises in advance for any disruption this may cause for residents wishing to access our website or carry out any online transactions. The website will still be available during the week of November 30 to December 4 and fromDecember 7 all website functions and online transactions should be back to normal.
