Shortly after 4am on Saturday 10 October 2015, a group of four men had left a bar on Bradshawgate and were waiting outside. A second group of men left the bar and a fight ensued between the two groups. The first group then left Bradshawgate and walked along All Saints Street where they confronted a man who was alone.

Three of the group attacked him; kicking and punching him in the head and face, before stealing his phone and fleeing.

Police have released CCTV images of three men they want to speak to in connection with the attack.

The three men that attacked the victim are described as,

Man one – white, of medium build, aged around 25-30 years, wearing a red t-shirt with a white trim on the sleeve, blue jeans, tattoos on both arms, with short dark hair.

Man two – white, medium/large build, aged around 25-30years, short hairstyle, wearing a t-shirt with blue sleeves with white trim and a grey chest and shoulders, with a cream lower part to the t-shirt.
Man three – white, aged around 25-30years, slim/medium build, wearing a black shirt which has been buttoned up to the top, black trousers and white trainers

Police Constable Timothy Abernethy of Bolton division said: “This was brutal and unprovoked attack that has left a man with serious bruising, swelling and a broken jaw.

“We have images of three men we want to speak to and I hope there is someone out there who can recognise and identify them to us.

“Similarly, if you were in the area at the time of the attack and believe you can assist our investigation, please do not hesitate to contact us.”
