Bolton Cancer Voices Choir are seeking new members. Fresh from a very successful Christmas concert – Jingle Bell Sing-a-Long at the Victoria Hall they are now opening their membership up to anyone who, at any time in their life has had a cancer diagnosis, who loves to sing and would enjoy the exhilaration of performing and having a focus aside from their illness.
They are an inspirational and extremely friendly choir for people at any stage in their cancer journey, whether newly diagnosed and in treatment, living with cancer as a life-limiting condition or a cancer survivor.
The choir aims to provide a positive, motivational and diversionary environment in which members can have fun, enjoy the challenges of learning new music and performing.
No singing experience is necessary; you don’t need to be able to read music; there are no auditions and no fees to worry about!
People need not live locally to join but must be able to travel to Bolton for rehearsals.
Rehearsals take place on Mondays 7.30pm – 9.00pm at the Friends Meeting House, Silverwell Street, Bolton, BL1 1PP.
