Bolton Council will be holding a two minute silence on Victoria Square on Thursday March 31 at 6.30pm, in memory of the children and people killed in Lahore.
The flag will be flown at half-mast and the Mayor of Bolton, Councillor Carole Swarbrick and the Bishop of Bolton, Bishop Chris Edmondson will be saying a few words.
The Mayor of Bolton will lay flowers on the Square and candles will be lit.
Councillor Carole Swarbrick, Mayor of Bolton said: “This was a terrible tragedy, affecting families who had gathered in a park to celebrate Easter and even more upsetting due to the large number of children killed.
Many members of our community in Bolton have links to Lahore and some have lost friends and family members.
We felt it was important to pay our respects and offer prayers for the dead, the injured and their families & friends.”
