Astley Bridge Festival is a celebration of music, art, photography, history, floristry,  mixed with a healthy sprinkling of fun and games. They are keen to build on their previous success and they need more people to help it happen: artists, performers, stallholders and volunteers.

The free summer event takes place on the 9th-10th July across several venues including,  Astley Bridge Park, Oldhams Children’s Centre, Bank Top Church, Drummond Street, Astley Bridge Baptist Church, All Souls, The Gospel Hall and Moss Lea Allotments.

The festival is organised by local councillors Hilary Fairclough and Paul Wild, Friends of Astley Bridge, local community groups and businesses such as ASDA, Royal Bank of Scotland and Bolton at Home. In 2015 they had over 1000 people attending, and they hope to engage with a bigger audience year on year. You can expect live music, a talent show, free workshops, demonstrations, a garden parties, parades, performances,  arts and crafts for all , Bolton FM radio, and much, much more.
