I went out for a stroll last week, looking for a spot to sit under a tree to do a little whittling. As I had an appointment later in the day in Johnson Fold, I thought Moss Bank Park could be a good spot.
My idea was to sit in the Hive somewhere but it was closed. What I did find open was the Rock Garden, somewhere I’d not visited for a few years.
It was gorgeous in there!

They turned out to be the Friends of Moss Bank Park, a group that had been set up to care for these gardens.
It turns out that they meet up every Tuesday morning at 10am to care for this and the Walled Garden close by, they are usually there ’till about mid-day.
They have been doing this for a few years now, the results of which are an amazing sight. I was especially taken with the bridge they’d installed.

But please remember, leave the place tidy, there is a litter bin!
