Police investigating the abduction of a man in Leigh have found him safe and well at home.

The investigation is still ongoing and the 22-year-old man, a 26-year-old man and a 22-year-old woman have been arrested on suspicion of kidnap and remain in police custody for questioning.

Shortly before 8.30pm on Wednesday 17 August 2016, police were called to Twist Lane to reports that a man had been bundled into an orange Ford Focus.

The vehicle then drove off towards Atherton.

Detective Inspector Paul Rollinson, of GMP’s Wigan borough, said: “We have already made three arrests in connection with this incident but our investigation continues.

“We would urge anybody who saw a vehicle matching this description or anything that can help our investigation to contact us.
