Booths Great Northern Christmas Launches

If you are looking for a festive feast overflowing with Northern soul, look no further than Booths. The proudly independent supermarket has made indulging in a Great Northern Christmas a piece of cake.

Clementine and cranberry cake, with glazed figs and pistachios, to be precise.

Established in 1847, for six generations the family retailer has worked with hill farmers, craft bakers, butchers, cheesemakers and fishermen, and the Great Northern Christmas is a celebration of Booths’ local food heroes.

Chairman Edwin Booth said “When I was a child I used to wish that Christmas Day would last forever, and I still feel like that about Christmas dinner! Our Christmas selection is brimming with time-saving, regional delicacies to help you put your feet up, pause and enjoy time with friends and family. We’ve also had a word with Father Christmas to make sure food lovers all over Britain can enjoy home delivery of the Booths’ Great Northern Christmas.”

Their Christmas book has recently launched and contains all the essentials for Christmas and the new year period including  meat, wines, fish, Cakes and puds and more including some amazing gift ideas.

Their website also boasts an amazing array of recipes for the run up to Christmas and for every day use so our suggestion would be to check those out as well for some inspirational foodie treats.
