David Crausby MP is supporting a national anti-racism campaign, and encouraging local schools and businesses to get involved.

Show Racism the Red Card is the UK’s anti-racism educational charity. They deliver education to young people and adults in their schools, workplaces and at events held in football stadiums to promote a message of understanding. They provide training to more than 50,000 individuals per year.

Bolton North East MP David Crausby is backing Show Racism the Red Card as they launch ‘Wear Red Day’. Schools and businesses are encouraged to ask people to wear anything red on Friday 22nd October 2016 and donate £1.

Wear Red Day aims to spread awareness of Show Racism the Red Card and help raise funds for their important work.

David Crausby said:

“Racism should have no place in our society but sadly many people still suffer as a result of it. Education and awareness are key to challenging unhealthy attitudes and breaking down barriers within our communities. I’m encouraging local schools and businesses to get involved with Wear Red Day and show that Bolton stands against racism.”
