Police are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of a pregnant woman who was reported missing yesterday.
Angela King, 33, from Bury, was last seen at 11.30am on Thursday 12 January 2017.
She is described as mixed race, with black hair, brown eyes, around 5ft 1in tall, slim build and is heavily pregnant.
Angela was last seen wearing  multi-coloured leggings, blue and pink Sketcher trainers and a thin khaki green/brown three-quarter length parka-style coat.
Detective Inspector Lee Hopwood said: “We are obviously worried for Angela’s welfare, but also for the welfare of her unborn child.
“She is heavily pregnant and our priority first and foremost is to ensure that both her and the baby are safe and sound.
“Angela, if you are reading this please contact us and let us know you are ok.
“Alternatively, if anyone has seen Angela in the last day or two, please contact us on 101 with any information you have.”
Anyone with information of Angela’s whereabouts is asked to call police on 101 or the independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
