Last month, Bolton at Home brought the Pop-up Business School to Bolton for a packed week of free training, information and inspiration – all designed to inspire and support Bolton’s budding entrepreneurs in the process of starting their own small businesses.
There was a brilliant turnout throughout the week and I was one of the lucky ones who completed the full course and learnt such a lot of new skills. We all made new friends and the week left us all full of great ideas and motivation, which we were keen to build on.
Bolton at Home continue to offer support to keep the momentum going by offering networking and trading opportunities and, thanks to Crompton Place, the Pop-up Class of 2017 will be taking over the former Clark’s shoe shop unit over the next two weekends, to showcase their fledgling businesses and get some face-to-face feedback from customers.
There will be a wide range of products and services on offer, from last minute Mother’s Day gifts such as jewellery, candles, bath bombs and cupcakes to food, clothing and health/detox products. Pop along over the next two Fridays and Saturdays to see what’s on offer and help support some of Bolton’s newest businesses.
