The Hound of the Baskervilles returns

The case is reopened! Follow Sherlock Holmes and his incomparable sidekick Dr. Jane Watson on their journey from the streets of London to the Devonshire Moors as they attempt to solve the mystery of… The Hound of the Baskervilles!

Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s classic mystery, The Hound of the Baskervilles is brilliantly bought to life on stage in Northern Rep’s hilarious and critically acclaimed production.

This inventive comedy mystery features two fearless actors playing every role in this fast paced farce and Christopher Brown & Angela Hazeldine return to the roles they originated this summer in Manchester.

The Hound of the Baskervilles will now take to the stage at three new venues, in three new cities – the Kings Arms in Salford, the Old Rep in Birmingham and the Epstein Theatre in Liverpool.

Thomas Moore, Artistic Director of Northern Rep, said: “We’ve had such a great time bringing this show to Manchester audiences for the past three and a half months. We never expected that it would be as loved as it is.

“We spent a lot of time thinking about where to bring the show back and discovered a secret code in the first page of the script. A clue left by Sir Arthur if you will, all of the letters that make up The King’s Arms are in there and it felt like an obvious choice for Salford.

“And we are so excited to take this show on the road further afield to Birmingham and Liverpool.

“In classic Holmes & Watson style, expect a riotous night filled with intrigue and excitement”

The Hound of the Baskervilles, by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle is adapted and directed by Thomas Moore, and performed by produced by Northern Rep.

“The Hound of the Baskervilles is an absolute riot, cheeky, chaotic and jolly good fun, it’s an absolute must-see!”
