Brian & Krysstal adopt the persona of depressed, desperate, down-on-their-luck comedians, browbeaten by the disappointments the world relentlessly heaps upon them. It may sound depressing but in fact its hilarious! The often cheesy gags are all upbeat and sold with trademark pizzazz. The songs, likewise, are a subtle and contradictory mix of the cheerful and the cheerless, which are great, if stupid fun. They have a laugh per minute rate that amongst the highest in the entire comedy business and are sure to a smile on anyone’s face.

Since meeting at The Edinburgh Festival in 2000 Brian & Krystal have entertained and delighted all kinds of audiences at comedy clubs, cabaret nights, festivals, corporate and private functions in locations far and wide. Brian is infamously grumpy and deadpan, while his assistant Krystal is glamorous but ditzy. The combination is unique and very funny. Their timing is exquisite, their humour dry and sometimes bawdy. Brian & Krystal’s first CD “Silly Songs” recorded in 2001 is now available on iTunes.

Wherever they go their baggage goes with them, including several instruments (not always musical in their hands). Individually they have many years of experience in the entertainment industry, Brian as a musician and Krystal as an actress in Australia. Their unconventional vaudeville-style act is punctuated by silly songs, the odd bit of Spanish dancing LOADS of jokes and LOADS of belly laughs.

We’ve never seen anything quite like this before!” ITV

Barry Dodds is a circuit favourite and lovable Geordie who’s cheeky grin hides no end of uproarious and unpredictable stories and gags. He charms audiences nationwide, with his uniquely tailored combination of disarming wit and wry, down-to-earth observational humour. As adorable as he is funny, this brilliant comic will captivate you and make you laugh in equally dollops.

He first took to the comedy stage at the tender age of 21 he soon had audiences eating out of the palm of his hand. Using his own contrasting combination of irrepressibly cheeky and gently mischievous material, he quickly found himself taking the national circuit by storm.

A finalist in various high profile competitions such as Jimmy Carr’s Comedy Idol and Jongleurs Last Laugh Comedy Search, his twinkly eyed, playful demeanour disarms judging panels, industry experts and audiences alike, allowing him flirt coquettishly with topics that are traditionally a little more unusual.

In summary, a funny, funny man!
