Review: Jack and The Beanstalk at Bolton Albert Halls

Fee Fi Fo Fum, Jack and the Beanstalk comes to Bolton!

Joseph Purdy Productions have returned to The Albert Halls, Bolton this summer with the gigantic pantomime adventure of Jack and the Beanstalk.

Join Jack our hero as he climbs up the beanstalk to save Princess Apricot who has been captured by the evil Fleshcreep. Under the guidance of the Enchantress ‘Mother Nature’, Jack bravely battles the giant and returns to Boltonia with Princess Apricot in hand. Along with Dame Trott, Simple Simon and king Crumble they make sure good prevails evil in this magical fairy tale.

The acting in this show is spot on for a summer pantomime with stellar performances from the whole cast.
Anne Nolan is perfect as the Fairy queen and Warren Donnelly`s King crumble was brilliant. Rebecca Lake`s Jill was acted perfectly and Richars Aucott`s Dame Trott will live with us forever.

The kids who went with me to see Jack and The beanstalk loved every minute of it and they wanted to go back for more

Final Score: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

With glittering sets, sparkling costumes and a laugh a minute script, you’ll want to make sure you’ve ‘Bean’ to Albert Halls this summer for this family fun show, my whole family loved it so much that since we got back it is all the kids can talk about. It is great to have the Albert Halls back up and running and bringing top quality entertainment to our town and the quality of shows coming in is amazing.
